The most blatant case of PROFILING Ive ever experienced. And according to the other reviews on here, it is not an uncommon thing and clearly has not been addressed to the employees. I came in with a friend of mine, we bought around $300 each worth of products from this location. From the minute we entered the store we were being constantly followed by most of the staff members. Not once were either of us asked if we needed any help or greeted with a smile(which in every other ulta Ive been to they do this). Every time I turned around a staff member would be in the same isle. Either pretending to be on talking on their phone or just quickly walking by me. We were in there for quite a while and when we formed in line to pay, we heard someone say how are they going to pay for all that. Keep in mind my friend and I were the only two brown girls in the entire store. The staff here all need to be educated on profiling, just because two brown girls in hoodies are picking up a lot of product, DOES NOT mean that we are thieves. Judging someone based on their appearance is so outdated and morally wrong. I suggest anyone wishing to buy from Ulta they direct themselves to a different location. IF you do go here, have your guard up and be ready to document any sort of profiling/racism. I will continue to shop here because its so close to me, but If I see its a reoccurring issue I 100% will record every interaction I have here. Its 2024 these kinds of things will not go unpunished or unnoticed.
