My husband has been at Chelsea Place for 2 months and I feel so blessed that we found this loving home for him. The staff shows so much love and kindness to the residences and it feels like home to me also when I visit each day. He has adjusted and is so calm, smiles and enjoys the activities. I never dreamed that I could have found a place where he is loved like he was at home. My family and friends are also amazed at the kindness and love that is shown to residences. Thanks Chelsea Place for taking care of the man we all love.

You will be fired for being frustrated with management and their promises to you. Even if you are more qualified in a different position, they would rather get rid of you instead of help you help them. It's very disappointing, especially when you have qualifications and experience and genuine love for the residents.

I was not seriously looking for a new position when I toured Chelsea Place. I was only considering a change. But when I saw the love, interaction, and sincerity of the team members, (each and every one of them,) I decided that I needed to make a change to Chelsea Place. It is a magical place, and I would truly trust my loved ones to live and be cared for here!! And I am thankful for this community, each resident, family member, and team member who makes each day special for our elders entrusted to our care here! Thank you for allowing me to serve at Chelsea Place also!!

When your loved one has a terrible disease like Alzheimer's, having caregivers trained specifically in the care of a progressive brain disease is paramount. The staff at Chelsea Place is warm, empathetic and most of all loving to the individuals living in the community. They meet each resident on a human level to effectively meet their needs, while promoting independence. It's never easy to do what they do but it is always worth it and the feeling you get at Chelsea Place proves that.
