THEIVES!!!! LIARS!!!!! ROBBERS!!!! HORRIBLE BUSINESS PRACTICES!!!! ....We think that robbers wear a mask and break into your house at night. While that is true, some robbers hide and operate in plan site!!!! The service manager Dee Junston and the service department management are THEIVES!!! When you drop off your piece of equipment here you are handing them an open check and they will take advantage of it! This place is absolutely terrible. I would give negative stars if I could . I had my transmission shipped here to be re- sealed and inspected. After speaking with Dee over the phone about the transmission, he quoted me 8 to 10 hours to tear down, inspect and re-seal. The transmission had 76000 miles on it. It came out of a wrecked truck. I wanted it re- sealed and inspected before it went into another truck. They tore down the transmission, after being over a month late on there original timeline. I got a quote for $17,300! They quote had over 50 hours of labor on it!! I drove from Reno to Sacramento to inspect the transmission. I asked to speak to the tech that tore it apart. He explained to me that there was nothing wrong with the any of the hard parts for the transmission, (that were all on the quote) it simply needed to be re- sealed. I showed him the emailed quote. He was absolutely shocked. He said it took him 6 hours to tear it down and would take him another 16 to put it together . That's 24 hours!! They quoted me 50!!! At $200 an hour! The tech straight up told me that they are ripping me off ! He said they don't get very many private customers, because every private customer that comes through the door gets rip off. He said they mostly do warranty work and they don't make as much money , compared to doing revenue jobs. So private customers are paying for the warranty short- coming. I loaded my transmission in pieces. When I went to pay the bill the handed me a bill with 17 hours labor on it for one day. After confronting them that there tech worked 17 hours in one day, they said it was just how they did there billing. I told them the tech said he had 6 hours in it. They said he didn't know what he was talking about. I argued the bill. I ended up paint for 7 hours of labor. Absolutely disgusting. This is exactly why many mechanic shops have a bad name.
