I had initially called Dr. Wagners office after being referred to them by a friend and specifically asked them if they could redo my exiting teeth bonding that was stained. They assured me this could be done and quoted me a ballpark amount.
This is where things get awkward. When I arrived at the office, his staff tried to sell me on teeth whitening. I told them I had already tried that route with my current dentist and wanted them to redo my bonding. Once I saw Dr Wagner, he tried to upsell me on porcelain veneers which I didn't want. Once he understood that I just wanted to do bonding he told me he needed to take a 3D model of my teeth so he could design my new smile. I told him that I did not want a new smile and just wanted to replace the existing bonding, same way it was, as I had discussed on my call. He told me that that the information I was given on the call would not have been given to me. When I assured him it was, he proceeded to blankly stare at me for over fifteen seconds without saying anything. Imagine this at a dentists office. It was one of the most awkward experiences Ive ever had. After that weird interaction his office manager gave me prices that were significantly more than the ballpark I had been given on the phone call prior to my visit.
At this point I just wanted to leave. As I started to get up they were surprised I was not moving forward with the services. Ive never experienced anything like this in my life.

Dr. Wagner is an amazing dentist with great vision. Im a dental student and I did my veneer case with him. I trusted him a lot with my work

This review is solely for the incompetent front office, Dr Pinar is actually a very nice guy and seems to be a nice Doctor! The front office saw my husband 2 weeks ago. He presented his insurance card, no one told him hey you are out of network, btw you will need to pay $250 instead they brought us in and started the initial visit. See, this kind of thing does not work with me, I manage a very successful dental office in a prominent zip code and there is NO WAY any of this would ever happen in my office! You inform the patient in person BEFORE bringing him in. When he presented his insurance over the phone, this was also another time that his staff could have mentioned this important information which they failed!
Dr Pinar has good dental assistants however the front office is poorly ran and a lack of knowledge, experience and intelligence is extensively lacking. I can see how much money is lost monthly and all because of these incompetent front office people he has. Dr Pinar, who goes over your monthly production and collection with you? This office has so much potential if he only had the right individuals running it. I am speechless of the lack of experience of whos running this office, even more so that we were referred by family and famous folks we know! Dr Pinar, you have no idea how much money these people are loosing for you!
On another note, when explaining this over the phone with his front office, to my dismay the Philippino one started talking over me and had no sense to let me actually speak and address my concern ( this was today 11/15/2022). At that point, I was not even mad it was comical because someone like her would not last a day anywhere if the boss only knew how she really is. Aside from the lack of professionalism and management experience, There is so much wrong to this whole picture, I dont understand why these people are even there! Why?!
