Carol Bono & Anita (I believe her assistant) where very rude. I think having to explain why someone was out of work on unemployment in 2020 is a prime example of lack of common sense, but being extremely unprofessional with tone speaks volumes of where I'll be conducting business with future loans. Also, why are you contacting people via email at 3am? Anyhow, I can't recommend doing business with this company, their values clearly have gone down.

Joined them instead of SAG because I thought their greater eligibility of membership would mean greater resources for better loans, interest rates, etc., but they really just have terrible policies and practices. For example, I begged them for years to upgrade the ATM at the Wilshire Branch to one that would accept cash deposits, but what did they do instead? They closed it, while they left the Paramount Branch open. Apparently, it's more important Paramount employees rather than those working at the Lot or Siren or Milk or Line 204, etc. Do they bother to help their members get access to that branch or at least put an ATM outside the gates? Nope. They'd rather have Hollywood-based members (who don't have a job at Paramount) drive to Culver City or Burbank. Practically every decision they make leaves you feeling less and less valued as a member. Their card is also crazily over-protective (for them.) I've found myself stranded trying to get gas at out-of-state pumps, etc. I eventually started setting the travel notice in the app, but even that wasn't enough to get it to allow me to pay for a room or transport in Mexico recently (despite listing Mexico as my travel destination.) I ultimately had to withdraw unnecessary cash from an ATM and pay the outragious fees ($5-7!) They try to lure you in, saying, "You can use your card for free at any 7-eleven ATM...", but you'll find machines that are exceptions to this. It's just been one frustrating experience after another. As I write this, I've spent the evening driving a spiral around Hollywood, trying to deposit cash in another CU's ATM, but none of those work either...
