Yesterday my home sale closed and I want to share how smooth the experience was. Leslie Shafton made what I expected to be a complex and stressful activity into a much more predictable and stress-free experience than I dreamed was possible. From the first time we met and I showed her my place, she was focused on my goals and timelines and within a couple days she provided a timeline that laid everything out. I was looking at that today and absolutely every milestone was on target. She made is easy to see what things were in my court and what things were dependent on other things being completed first. I made my deadlines so she could make hers.Once I moved out, Leslie got the place staged and produced really nice marketing materials that she put out quickly. I was able to share with people, too, and they all agreed my place presented really well. We got good traffic and accepted an offer that met my goals quickly. Along the way, Leslie was great at providing potential resources to sell some of my things, pack, move, whatever came up. I was able to get bids on those recommendations and felt confident that I was getting great quality at a fair price. I was able to keep things moving with the confidence that all of the handoffs -- from inspections to title -- were handled gracefully and I never felt I was in it alone. If I ever had questions, she would get the answers, and she held space for my questions and concerns. In the end, it was fast to market (my choice) and a fast close. I felt like we had come through this together and she was as happy for me as I was. I can't say enough wonderful things about my experience working with Leslie.

We sought to buy a house despite being in an extremely volatile real estate market. Stuart Steele, our agent, was very patient with us, and in the months to follow, gave us a first-class education on the art of home inspections, home buying, and escrow.And we did buy a house that is now our home! Long Nguyen has been the family realtor for years. I normally keep my reviews limited to restaurants, cafes, and other small business; but once in a while I like to commend somebody because of how exceptional they were to deliver.Within the last two decades, Long has walked my parents through the process of securing 2 rental properties within the East Bay area. His expertise in being able to walk in his clients shoes, and advise on listings based on his clients' needs and goals are bar none. Most recently, he had helped me successfully purchasing my dream home in Lafayette in a hot market (2021 Bay Area). Based on his expertise, he was able to guide me into getting a good deal, closing right on time, and helped me understand all that needs to be done before, during, and after. Even after escrow had close and the closing disclosures were signed, he forwarded me links that would be helpful for a first-time homebuyer like me, to get started and squared away with my home.I will always remember how he treated me like a good family/friend during these trying times and will always go back to him if I ever need anything real estate related.

I generally expect people to do their job and do not write many letters like this. Having worked with many business people there are few that equal the professionalism of Bill Finnigan at Dudum Real Estate Group. My wife and I appreciate him because his above and beyond the expected communication and problem solving were exceptional.It was a pleasure working with Bill and we appreciate his  ability to make his clients feel very comfortable and well represented.

Be very wary of using Mary Piscitelli as your realtor. She is unethical, lies to cover up poor judgement calls, knows nothing at all about zoning and land use law and conducts her business in a clear conflict of interest manner. Buyers and sellers of real estate beware!
