I give no stars. The first floor has flooded before and damage WILL happen in a months time is uninsurable READ THE FINE PRINT ON YOUR CONTRACT! U will have damage. A-1 Storage DOES NOT INSURE U FOR MOLD DAMAGE & THEY KNOW THAT ITS OUT OF CONTROL ON THE FIRST FLOOR. tell everyone not to rent the basement (i.e. first floor) everything U u own will be covered in mold spores and the condensation because of the hot snd cold temperatures from the dark and dank first floor even if you put everything in plastic bags or containers UNLESS YOU USE A TON OF DESICCANT PACKS- some are mixed with silica, a hygroscopic substance used as a drying agent ) to absorb moisture. U will have to throw away anything electronic not stored in a box with desiccant U will notice corrosion on metals and you can see the mold growing inside and out. All my white clothes and organic materials like cotton I had to throw away. Mold stains on colored fabric in two months were very difficult to remove. If it wasnt damaged by mold the temperatures ruined my stretchy clothes, like Spandex and Lycra and bonded leather good fell part or peeling off at the seams & looked awful. Shame on A-1 storage for not fixing this problem. Renters insurance from homeowners might have coverage IDK ?
