Dear Googler. As you know, there are always two sides to every story. This customer has not paid on three of her units. One is delinquent since March of 2022, another since April and the last is delinquent for July this year. Our protection program includes coverage for damages due to mice; however, the tenant must be current on rent as a stated condition of that coverage. Additionally, this tenant has not reported anything about mice in her units prior to this review. If she had, we would engage our pest control company immediately to remedy the problem. The site can get dusty, which is why we advise customers to carefully pack their belongings. Allegations that our staff have stolen items is categorically untrue. Our staff do not have keys to units the customers lock themselves using their own locks. When a delinquent tenant is processed for auction, pursuant California lien sale law, our staff and a witness take inventory of the unit without actually entering (taking pictures and making a written inventory report from the outside of the unit, specifically not entering or touching anything) in preparation for the required advertisement of sale. The unit is then locked and a serial numbered tag is installed to secure the unit until a sale or until the unit is paid for. With this information, we hope you understand the context and possible motivation behind the above review. Our success in the industry depends on our reputation. Our managers take this to heart and genuinely care about our customers and their belongings.
