This daycare facility ( if you can even call it that) is a joke!!!! My 3 year old son was given 5 days and then Emma ( the owner) decided he was not a " good fit" My son is a very normal, happy 3 year old and on his first day he was " throwing toys" and hit another child in the face with the toy, the child was sent home and Emma advised me that those parents " were not happy". I felt really bad but also understood that he is a 3 year old boy and this kind of stuff happens. Day 2 came and Emma called me at work to advise me that my son had thrown a car at a little boy and that the little boy threw a car back at him causing my son to cry. I was not upset because I understand that these things happen. When I picked my son up that day she let me know that she would continue to work with him and try to get him past the toy throwing. She advised me that he was a happy boy and that he enjoyed playing with the other kids. Wednesday and Thursday were according to Emma " good days" She said my son was doing well and she was hopeful that he would do well. Friday afternoon when I picked up my son , Emma advised me that my son had a " very rough day" she said he would not nap for her, and that no matter what they did for him she could not make him happy. She then proceeded to tell me that she would be " referring me out" to another day care. I was very caught of guard by this as she had not said anything to be about this previously. She said that my son was just " not a good fit" I became upset, my son was there for 5 days, how can one determine if a child is a good fit in 5 days???? He had not even had time to adjust to his new environment. I asked her multiple times during our Friday conversation, " so you are dropping my son from your program "? She said " No, I am referring him out to someone who we think will be a better fit for him" I asked her what does she think is wrong with my child ? She would not give me any kind of straight answer. She just kept talking about how he wasn't a good fit. I then said well you said he had done well for the past 2 days and that today was a rough day for him? Don't we all have bad days? as humans, don't we all have ups and downs? You think in 5 days that is enough time to allow him to adjust? Again never a straight answer from her.  Emma made me feel like I was the issue and that my son was a monster. She did indeed refer me out to what ended up to actually be a better situation for my son, but I found out that this is not the first time kids have been dumped, in fact, it sounds like if a child doesn't fit her cookie cutter mold then they have to go! This is just a warning to anyone who may be thinking about enrolling their child in this day care, unless they are 100% perfect, please do not even waste your time! She was very unprofessional in the way she handled the whole thing. Sounds like this lady needs to retire, she has no patience and is clearly only in this for a paycheck! At the end of the day I am glad my son is not there anymore but just heed my warning, this is not the place you want to enroll your child. She's a real weirdo this one!
