I CANNOT recommend this dental office. Unfortunately, we have been coming here for years. This visit was the last straw. The two females at the front desk were courteous but dressed very inappropriately. Cleavage and mid drifts were showing. Employees look rough; visible tattoos and facial piercings. Music played is often provocative and not for children's ears or anyone's. This office very apparently caters to the Denti-Cal insurance demographic. It is about quantity over quality. Everyone is quickly herded in and out. Cleanings (a quick floss and buff) are done by a dental assistant and never will you see a dental hygienist. Gum pockets are never measured. The dentist quickly read the x-rays. It wasn't until I mentioned the pain and sensitivity my child was having did he look closer and notice there were what appeared to be cavities behind two fillings done in that very office. How does that happen?! He then promptly referred us to see a general dentist stating that since they were adult teeth they didn't have the tools, capability, or expertise to work on them. If this is the case they should not have sealed or filled any of her adult teeth to begin with! The list of dental providers given was specific to Denti-Cal insurance, even though I specified Delta dental also, and was dated 11/2017. So, an outdated list was provided. I found a dentist who accepted our dual insurance based off my own insurance provider searches and was told we would need to pay out of pocket since the work on these teeth had already been billed and claimed through Children's Choice. Absolutely unacceptable!
