image Update 10/14/2021 - the ordered parts were installed and things seem to be fine now. Leaving my review at 3 stars. I've been in the service industry for years - this should have been addressed (call me and tell me there was accidental damage, to which parts could be ordered to fix it) before I even saw the car back into my possession.
Small update to 3 stars 10/4/2021 - they are now going to replace the trim pieces that have some damage on them. Parts have been ordered and have come in. Scheduling some time in the next few days and will update again after install is complete.
Initial review (2 stars): Was initially happy with the experience. I brought my 2019 XC90 in for a warranty repair of the center console with peeling chrome and an EVAP pipe repair for a service bulletin. (which was completed free of charge and covered under warranty). They parked the car outside after about 6hrs waiting for it. Seems excessive, but I told them I was okay with the wait.
When I got in the car, the seats were all adjusted way out, no biggie.
All the stuff from the center console was thrown behind the passenger front seat. Had to clean all that up. Weird and kind of annoying.
I subsequently noticed that they scuffed/damaged the leather in the process of removal and replacement of the center console piece. I brought this up to the tech, expecting that they would replace the items because it was their fault that it was damaged. They decided to "try to get a hold of their guy who does leather repair". Maybe I'm being unreasonable, but the damage to the car was 100% the tech's fault and in my opinion should be replaced on the dealership's dime.
