Food was pretty good but we were sat on the patio and after about 30 min the sun went down and there are no lights on. We asked twice if they could turn on the lights and they said they would automatically go on at 7:30z they did not. Were using our phone flashlights to see the food :/

Amazing find! We lucked out and tried this place on a whim before seeing a movie. Service was friendly and efficient. Green tea was a highlight for me. Portions are very generous. Their sushi is so fresh and the rolls werent just the predictable overly sweet kind most places serve. They had a sophisticated balance of flavors. I loved the yellowtail slam with yuzu. Fried rice was freshly made to order. So was the chicken teriyaki. Highly recommend this place

Quick to seat, served complimentary miso, attentive waitress, expeditious food service, checked in on often, rolls were amazing, clean space, and respectful staff.
My favorite sushi spot. I'd be willing to drive 2 hours to come here again, and make it an excuse to have a day trip in the area. Locals here are lucky to have this spot!

I have been to at least 20 sushi places in the Menifee/Murrieta/Wildomar/Temecula area, and none come even close to Fire Fish. I don't think I've rated a sushi place in this area over an 8, ever. Fire Fish deserves a 10. I can't eat other sushi in the area anymore; it's all so boring now in comparison. Sushi is my favorite food. I have had it in many countries, including Japan. Mr. T's (the owner of Fire Fish) sushi is some of the best I've had, as good as what I ate at Morimoto in Philadelphia. Fire Fish is special. It consistently delivers delicious, fresh, and well-composed rolls and other dishes that surprisingly combine Thai flavors with Japanese flavors and technique. I can't recommend it enough. Try anything with the refreshing sauce or their sesame sauce and you will be delighted. It's just so, so good.
