I had a difficult divorce to conclude.  My wife, at the time, was avoiding appearing in court for years.  I found David through a paralegal firm and we concluded the divorce in a fair way to me and within a few months and affordably.  I have a fair alimony and it included a judgement to me of significant funds to equalize us financially retroactive to the time we separated.   I had asked for something that had not been requested before of the courts and David got a ruling in my favor.

Beware! Find another lawyer... When you walk in, they will smile and act all friendly,till it gets to billing, you'll see their evil claws come out!Stay clear away.

Yes,  I have to agree with the last yelper. David is a consummate lawyer in the sense of the best kind of lawyer! He is really fair with fees and works with you if you communicate with him and do your part. One has to remember that depending on how complicated the case is, things can get more complicated and end up requiring more litigation and paperwork and it all costs time and money. David is the perfect blend of assertiveness, wisdom, and calmness. I would recommend him and do to everyone and especially to friends who are dealing with difficult family court issues. When I retained him to help me, I was not rolling in dough, but he helped me immeasurably. He helped get me through the worst time in my life. It is clear that he uses all of his experience as a former probation officer and court custody evaluator when he is serving his clients. His services are priceless!

I don't know what the previous yelper was talking about but, David Hamilton takes the cake on knowing what he's doing. He is currently helping me with my case and is outstanding. He doesn't take kindly to the pushovers in the court system or other lawyers. He is definately on your side and clearly seeks your best interests.

I referred a friend to Dave the Lawyer who need a divorce lawyer.  After making her feel comfortable with the fees and the fact that she had a limited amount of funds to work with.  Dave the Lawyer turned to Dave the Liar.  He quickly went through the $ and then begin to bill her before anything had been filed.  This has lead to several problems with the divorce and custody of her children.  Making matters worse, he took her to small claims court, made a deal for payments before court, then let the court enter a default judgement against her after taking her money and promise to pay.  Don't use this guy!
