It's sad to see Others very angry.. I don't understand why you are even a attorney just because you went to law school doesn't mean you're good.. I am one hundred percent a active client of james carroll I have to hide my identity for fear of reprisal.. Hoping he might read this and change..Here are the reasons why I would never hire james again.. *No communications * Until money is owed * Charges more than most attorneys * Can barely speak up in court * Most of the times the judge would tell him to speak up because he is so quiet.. * He will meet up with you five minutes before a court.. * Nothing has ever gone in my favor.. * Same situation as i'm sitting in court I hear other defendants Stating how horrible their experience with james carroll was at sonoma california court house Just remember all these people are writing bad reviews look how the real ones are written out ..seemed to short and fake.. Probably has his friends for paid reviews *When it comes to family law Get a court appointed attorney if possible * I will be filing a complaint against the state bar For multiple reasons Once my case is over.. *Incorrect Billable hours.. *Forced me to sign a paper stateing I cannot come back after him * Straight up unethical practicing family law.. * Missing appropriated funds * Professional misconduct

BEWARE, this law firm cares about one thing and one thing only, abusively draining your retainers on the most absurd things. Nearly $10,000 on one poorly drafted filing, most of which was utilized for "emails" per word it seems, worst of all by mediocre attorneys. I don't say this lightly and I almost never leave reviews, this firm is to be completely avoided lest you hate money and love poor representation that gives zero damn about you. It's a money pit. My other attorney has done 10x the work, for 10x less the cost, and actually cared about more than ensuring they account for every letter and comma in an email. Shame on you Carroll "Law". Only became attorneys to milk your clients.
