Irvine Company

As a long-term resident of Centerpointe for 7 years, it's with great disappointment that I share our recent experience with Irvine Company's leasing management. Historically, we've had a decent relationship, appreciating our home and the community at Centerpointe. However, the professionalism and consideration for tenants we've come to expect have drastically diminished. In the critical final month of our current lease, despite repeatedly requesting a renewal offer for over a month, management failed to provide us with any contract options until it was nearly too late. This lack of communication and last-minute notice has placed undue stress and pressure on our family, forcing us into a corner with limited time to make significant decisions. To add insult to injury, the renewal terms offered were not only significantly higher but also non-negotiable, showing a stark disregard for current market rates and the loyalty of long-term tenants. This approach feels less like an oversight and more like a strategic move by Irvine Company to maximize profits at the expense of residents' well-being and financial stability. It's disheartening to see a company we've been loyal to for nearly a decade resort to such gritty tactics at Centerpointe. This experience has revealed a concerning shift in Irvine Company's management ethos, prioritizing short-term gains over long-term tenant relationships and satisfaction. We hoped for a more cooperative and respectful negotiation process, reflective of our long-standing tenancy and the current housing market. Unfortunately, this has not been the case at Centerpointe. I share this review to inform potential tenants of our experience, hoping that Irvine Company will reconsider their approach to tenant management and communication at Centerpointe.

If I could, I would give a negative star. Their whole model is based on profit no matter what the residents go through. No concern for safety. They can cause you inconviniece at any time and not even apologize for it. No matter what city they have their property in, STAY AWAY! The "luxury" they promise is just not worth it. the IRVINE company are crooks. they continue to develop on known toxic and poisonous land which was once designated an EPA Superfund cleanup site. I wonder why it got removed. they definitely didn't clean up anything and now they even burnt down another toxic asbestos filled structure. Mark my words, you will see settlement claim ads about them in your lifetime. do not let them near you do not rent from them. I have never heard a single good thing about them. they are not to be trusted. if you find a review above two stars it's probably fake.

worst management, especially the crescent village in san jose is very unsafe. If asked the management replies "call 911 or police for safety concerns"

Joss at Irvine Company Apartment is incredible. Diligent and responsive management that cares for residents and their visitors. I am so pleased with the attention Joss and team placed on resolving an issue I was facing. With such friendly and kind service, I would highly recommend this building!
