Kimpton Canary Hotel Santa Barbara

We just stayed at the Kimpton last night. The rooms were extremely clean and updated quite well. The location was perfect for shopping bars, restaurants convenient, stores, etc. The bar had great service with friendly bartenders and staff. Sebastian the bellhop was very accommodating Personal and professional. I would recommend this hotel for downtown Santa Barbara anytime!

Recently stayed here with our little family of four for spring break and WOW was so impressed by this hotel. It has been tastefully redecorated, so spacious (we got two queen beds, plus a rolling crib), pool was heated to 80 degrees and only 3 ft deep which was perfect for our soon-to-be five year old to play! She stayed the first day in the pool for nearly 3 hours and slept like a champ. The hotel is right in the center of so many kid-friendly things (ie Moxi Museum, SB Museum of Natural History Sea Center, and so many great restaurants). Finch & Fork for breakfast was great every morning. Overall, would highly recommend and would love to come back sans kids for a lovers weekend.

Love this place! Such a clean and chic boutique hotel nestled in the heart of Santa Barbara. Just a walking distance to all the wonderful places on State street. A bit pricey, but well worth the money because the rooms feel like home.

The Kimpton Canary Hotel has an abundance of charm and our family recommends staying for a memorable positive experience. Its prime location provides easy strolls to local shopping and eats. Front Office Manager, Edwins hospitality made sure our family enjoyed our stay. Edwin listens with both mind and heart and he responds with empathy. Charming hotel with friendly staff vibes, and a great location to create vacation memories to treasure.
