I am trying to think of something good to say about the apartments and the only thing that I can come up with is that the location is good. The new manager is very rude and not helpful. I have been in the office about 6 times in the last year to hand in forms that management has requested and she is dour every time. Other residents have complained about her attitude too. There was a no dog policy and now they are all over the complex. The landscaping has not been kept up and the walkways and parking areas are filthy. For the rent that they charge for these old and not updated apartments is not a good value.

I recently moved in to the Monterey Pines Apts. and I was very disappointed to find that my apartment had not been cleaned prior to me moving in.  I spoke to the onsite manager Mary who said she was not award of this.  It has been my experience in the past that the property managers do a walk through to make sure everything is up to code, I don't think this property manager is very knowledgeable of what's going on. The laundry room is dark and dingy, the washers and driers are old and a couple of them didn't even work.  For what they charge for rent, you would think they would have a bit higher quality of appliances. I'm pretty much stuck here for a year because I signed a lease,  I should have did more research before signing the lease.
