Like most negative reviews regarding this firm, I had a similar experience. I was constantly being charged and basically only received two decisions that were not a complete loss. Mind you, I lost these two decisions as well, they just weren't the worst case outcomes. Then, upon retaining new counsel I obtained more results in one day than I received from Legis Law in over a year. To top it off, they attempted to add additional charges for the last decision which they had lost once they realized that I was no longer going to be working with them.

Update: I am switching from five stars to a one star. I thought this firm was being helpful to my father but I am completely wrong. My father is an old man and he thought this firm is handling his case. When my father called and spoke to Michael Banks, Michael Banks had trouble remembering the status of the case and he could not give a straight answer what is being charged. Instead, he was demanding for the money. He threatened my father that the law firm would not be handle the case. He had to ask him FOUR times what was the charge was about and Michael give him a very vague answer. I advise if this firm charges you for no reason, do not be forced to pay. Just like the previous review that mentioned about Court Case Notifiers, DO NOT take their referral to Legis Law. This firm only takes your money and they do not care about their clients. And they will charge you extra. An advise to this firm: Michael Banks needs to learn how to perform his job in a professional and honest manner. AND LEARN TO GIVE DIRECT ANSWER. NOT AVOID THE QUESTION AND DEMAND THE MONEY.

This company is a joke! Will Malone takes your money and assures you everything will be taken care of. He's a wolf in sheep's clothing! We originally went there to have a Mechanics Lien perfected. They never went to the first hearing, but went to the second. And then told the State Bar they were never representing us for the Mechanics Lien. The funny part is the State Bar believed S. David Kozich, the attorney that owns this circus, knowing they represented us in a Mechanics Lien hearing.
