Dig & Demo General Engineering Contractor

In 2022, Dig & Demo did a Full-Removal-with-Engineered-Backfill of my 40-year-old, 10,000-gallon fiberglass pool.  They also removed 20 tons of concrete patio that covered most of my side and back yards.The experience was absolutely 5-Stars from start to finish.  The estimate, contract signing, and scheduling were done in June 2022, and the actual job started and was completed in November 2022.I selected Dig & Demo over other companies for the following reasons:1. The many positive Yelp reviews2. Reasonable estimate with detailed list of work to be done (Another company gave me a one-page, boilerplate estimate at almost twice the cost!)3. Knowledgeable estimator who answered all my questions and addressed my specific needs in the estimate4. Dig & Demo provided the appropriate company background information (license, insurance, BBA rating, references, etc.) and promptly responded to all my emails and texts.The reasons why the actual job was a 5-Stars experience:1. The workers were professional, approachable, highly competent, and efficient.2. Every detail was addressed and once the work began, I didn't need to be home.3. All permits and inspections (pool demolition, engineered-backfill, and final inspection) were taken care of by Dig & Demo according to plan, and all necessary documents were provided to me at the end of the job.4. I wanted to wait a year before doing any landscaping to see how the back and side yards drained during the rainy season.  The ultimate test was the CA rains of January 2023 and the drainage was superb.I highly recommend Dig & Demo.  I can honestly say that everything about working with this company turned out better than I could have imagined.

Last month, Dig and Demo did a complete removal of our in-ground swimming pool.  After initial inquiry, we promptly received a proposal with a reasonable quote. The proposal was in great details and it answered many questions I had, and the communications with their office was prompt and useful.  The crew led by Miguel did a fantastic job.  They were patient, meticulous and resourceful and they managed to complete the job in about 12 days.  I am glad that I made the right decision to use their service, and would not hesitate to strongly recommend Dig and Demo.

Dig and Demo came recommended to us by a very busy real estate office. We did our own research and found very positive reviews. We met with Duwayne and was impressed with his knowledge and detailed estimate. We are so incredibly pleased with the work Jose and Juan completed. Jose Manuel (Manny) also did a great job. Wow! Such hard working and professional individuals. So respectful of our home and our neighbors, and such exceptional nice people. From beginning to end, they did an amazing job, hauling away all the concrete, power washing what was needed and also cleaning up before leaving each day. Juan and Jose are absolute experts in this process and we highly recommend them and this company. Also our interaction with the office, Michelle and Christina  were prompt, friendly  and professional. The entire job took about 5 days, which is also amazing. Thank you Dig and Demo!

I highly recommend Dig and Demo. They are an outstanding company. Their employees are professional, knowledgeable, thoughtful, and importantly, clear communicators.Dig and Demo sent DuWayne who thoroughly explained their process, gave me an estimate, and their projected time frame. His relaxed manner encouraged me to ask my layperson questions. He gave me the time to think about what I imagined my yard would look like when the job was complete.Miquel, Jaime, and Juan were always on time. They let me know what to expect [especially when they needed to get large trucks in and out efficiently so I could keep my car accessible]. They coordinated with companies doing other work on my property keeping everyone working efficiently. They also graciously accommodated a few last minute changes and I was happy to pay the very reasonable change order charges as I got exactly what I wanted.Michelle coordinated everyone and kept communications smooth.  She was always accessible. Michelle promptly answered any questions that Miguel could not answer or if I had a schedule question. Her gracious responses are another example of how professionally this company runs.Dig and Demo were able to complete my pool removal in the anticipated time frame and I know they worked hard to minimize disturbances to my neighbors.My backyard looks terrific and is ready for my new garden!I can confidently recommend them for any demolition work or pool removal work you need. And yes, I got estimates from 2 other companies before choosing Dig and Demo. I am so glad they did my work.

Dig and Demo recently removed my swimming pool that was leaking and was never used. I cannot say enough good things about the job they did. I interviewed multiple companies and chose Dig and Demo. They took exceptional care of the landscaping which I was concerned with. They even propped up some redwood tree branches rather then cutting them in order to drive their equipment to pool area. They double covered the driveway and ground all the way to the pool area. The clean up was very good as well. Dealing with the crew was a pleasure . friendly, and courteous and knowledgeable. Highly, highly recommend this company!
