Acacia Glass Co

Our contractor recommended Acacia for a glass door for our shower.  It had to be custom because of a slightly longer tub. It took a while to get them to measure and install, but once they did so, installation was top notch. What set them apart was their post sale service. A year later, one of the doors was not rolling properly because somehow a part got loose. I called them, the called back within a day to schedule a visit, and the following day Jorge did amazing job making everything work as new at no additional cost.

Nice local shop. Parking is awful, you know the Haight! Especially during early afternoon and they close early, like 4pm. Very nice Irish front desk gal. Never seems to be anyone there. The "guys" seem to go straight their job sites. She doesn't cut windows. So it took a couple days to get my simple 1 pane window cut. She called when it was ready. Got home... Wrong size! I told em I gave them the opening size and didn't know how much bigger it should be to install. Anyhow, back to shop. New piece had to be cut. No extra charge. 2 more days. Cheap prices. She threw in some free glazing putty and a few tips for a novice. Bit of a mess up, but very pleasant service and being a novice im sure I share the responsibility of the miscommunication. So 4 stars still for sure. Love to support the local biz when possible.
