        I stayed there in 1959. I still remember it. The only time I have been to S.F. 2 of my aunts took me there. I was 15.

        The hotel is ideally located, close to Union Square and trendy bars. The Mayflower Hotel itself is an authentic and pleasant place to stay in. The staff is attentive, always ready to help. Parking is possible, at no extra charge, but access is very narrow and a large car will not be able to enter. Breakfast is included, simple but plentiful.
