Europa Hotel

Great location in San Fran city with bars, cafes, clubs close. Rooms very small, almost no water in shower and either ice cold or burning hot. Old hotel that needs renovation....

The hotel itself is old and rundown, smells sooo bad and more smells come from ventilation in the bathroom constantly. The furniture shown on the photos was not present in our room: no chair, no any shelf or even one simple hanger to put jackets. No trash bins)) And it is adjacent to strip club, so in the evening there is music coming from there. We booked last minute and we needed a stay at +/- this area but at the end we regretted about it a lot.

Located around Chinatown and nearby Transamerica pyramid which is a good tall visible landmark to locate the hotel. Unfortunately, the positive stopped here. The hallway smelled funky and building was rundown. Room was small and poorly ventilated with no AC unit and window which opened to enclosed walls - if you managed to open it - as we had to use water bottle to keep our window opened. Also keep in mind if you have big luggage as there's no lift, good luck if your room is on the higher floor. Have to walk up quite a staircase to the check-in counter. Rooms: No AC unit, no fan in our room! Cannot image how it would be in rhe summer time!

Good ubication. In the Chinatown lot and the Italian restaurants... between two avenues. Many very drugged, smells of people lying around, at least three per block. It will be normal. I wouldn't recommend going to that city. Except for the bridge and another day going to the Rock.
