Casa Loma Hotel

You definitely get what you pay for. Don't spend 50$ on a hotel if you don't want bugs, possibly dirty sheets, and to live in fear. Nearby activities: There's a skating rink across the street, painted ladies down the road next to a park, and tons of homeless people doing incredibly weird things. Why go to the movie theater when the shows all around you?

The Casa Loma hotel is a great hotel to stay at if you're on a budget I stayed in a Twin Deluxe room for 1 week and cost me 643 dollars the room was nicely kept and was clean although the rooms are basic hence it's a budget hotel,nicely located as well not far from Haight Street where you can find a variety of places to eat and drink in one of my favourite places to drink in was the Molotov bar where beer on draft is 7 dollars and bottled beer 5 or 6 dollars and from 3pm to 7pm is happy hour it looks a bit dingy inside but it's actually quite nice and one other thing is that they ONLY EXEPT CASH no cards but there is a cash machine on the premises so if you're looking for a hotel at a reasonable price I'd choose the Casa Loma my second stay here,just one other thing to mention is the hotel does not have a lift so if you can't do stairs it won't be for you Rooms: Rooms are basic but kept clean and tidy. Safety: It has 24 hour front desk and your room card will unlock the lobby door to get in and you can come and go as much as you like there is no curfew,also it is in a relatively safe area I think. Walkability: The hotel is situated on the corner of where Fell street and Fillmore street intersects which is on the top of a hill.
