Rob designed and built two amazing pieces of work for me, a custom sewing table and a large desk. Both are made from walnut with a really beautiful grain. The sewing cabinet has drawers exactly for the size of my threads, scissors, tapes and other tools of the trade. The cavity for the machine is perfectly sized. The desk is large with self closing drawers again sized exactly for my needs.
Rob worked with me on design, providing several iterations and suggestions that resulted in these pieces being perfect to use and perfect for the space. The two pieces are equally functional and artistic. He is easy to work with and a true craftsman. If you need custom furniture that will last a lifetime, I highly recommend Rob!

Rob is my go-to builder/designer for all of our assorted wood craft. We have a few pieces of art from him, and have contracted him to design a few custom pieces of furniture for us, desks, shoe-racks, end-tables etc. He helped us specify all of the details, doing a great job managing the process from inquiry to design to finished build. Cannot recommend Rob enough!

Rob created a beautiful mirror piece for us that we love. We wanted a 2' x 3' mirror; he listened to what our thoughts were, gave several suggestions which helped our thinking along, and then built a great piece that's a little bit mid-century, a little bit rustic, made of cherry wood with inlaid black walnut surrounding a beveled mirror. Not sure if it's functional or art; that's my test for great workmanship. It gets applause from everyone.
