Had a disgusting, costly, horrific and time wasting experience with this terrible company. I WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN. Please read the reviews of this disreputable company before being a host or renter.

Never use Neax Travels. I am representing my son, who is training Tampa Fl. He is an NFL player, and he was seeking short-term residence while he's training. He came across this particular airbnb, which looked appealing, and he inquired. Needless to say, he decided to go with this particular unit. It has been a nightmare. The listing is far from what he received. We have reached out to the company several times to get inadequate assistance. When I inquired about the headquarters in San francisco, I was told that it is international representational representatives only and not domestic, so therefore, it is a language barrier, and we are struggling struggling with communicating on this matter They continue to ask the same questions over and over without a clear understanding of what we are asking. Please do not be fooled by their advertisement. It is totally false. No gym, no beautiful view, dirty bath tub, reeks of cigarette smoking, filthy carpet. There is no management on site to address the issues. Would only communicate through emails or texting. Finally, I spoke to a woman working from home with screaming children in the background who was unable to focus on our concerns. I finally spoke with an actual representative of Airbnb, who was understanding to our concerns and forced the owners of this nightmare of a unit to refund monies owed. Don't waste your time!

Im compelled to share my recent experience with Airbnb, which has raised significant concerns about its impact on local communities & enforcement of company policies. Airbnbs aggressive marketing strategies are encouraging a surge in short-term rentals, which are contributing to increased housing costs and a scarcity of long-term rental options for local residents. This trend is altering the fabric of family neighborhoods, pushing the dream of homeownership out of reach for many. Our once-peaceful neighborhood experienced a disturbing event recently. A property converted into an Airbnb rental became the site of a disruptive party that lasted multiple days. The noise was very rowdy &, the situation escalated to the point where party goers mistakenly attempted to enter our home in the middle of the night. Despite the disturbance, including a call to police, & a violation of city ordinances, the response from Airbnb was underwhelming at best. We reported the incident to Airbnb, provided evidence, & were assured that the guests had violated several rules, including those regarding occupancy, noise, & parties. We were told these guests would be banned from using the service. However, upon checking the listing, it is clear that both the host & the guests continue to receive positive reviews, which is disheartening & strongly suggests a lack of follow-through on Airbnbs part. Its crucial for companies like Airbnb to take community impact and policy enforcement seriously. I hope that by sharing my experience, Airbnb will take steps to prevent such occurrences in the future and prioritize the well-being of the neighborhoods they operate in.

We have been hosting our homes with Airbnb for 6 years and 6 months, are 26 times consecutive SuperHost, and take hosting very seriously. As hosts we work diligently to provide high quality, spotless stays for all of our guests. This is evident in our many full welcome books when reading through the wonderful comments left by our guest. Our experience with host support was always easy in the beginning. As hosts, we felt supported and protected in the few situations where damage or disruptive guests occurred. Since the pandemic and the growth of Airbnb, their support practices and customer service have become increasingly unacceptable and downright egregious. Airbnb is no longer supporting hosts, honoring their host protections, or providing proper communication or investigations. In fact, they are stalling cases, dragging complaints on in the hopes that hosts will give up. They hand them through many levels of support, closing cases without resolution. They are also removing evidence of wrong doing, deleting reservation off your calendar when you file a complaint so they dont have to honor the support. Take screenshots! File complaints, involve arbitration, diversify your portfolio across other platforms, because Airbnb is no longer looking out for you. They are only interested in $$$. Sourcing out customer service to countries where they can pay less in wages to people that can hardly understand you, call you or message you at all hours of the night due to time differences, and never have real solutions. Instead, they read from useless canned responses that most often dont have anything to do with your situation or escalate it until you are dealing with multiple people yet its still never resolved. We are so tired of the disrespect received after years of faithful hosting with this company. For now, we have started diversifying our portfolio. We will no longer be taking reservations for 2025 through this platform and look forward to cutting ties with a company that doesnt care one bit about the people who helped build them up. Think long and hard before becoming a host. Read all fine print and prepare yourself for a lot of frustration and disappointment.
