This branch is by far the best representation of what a relationship bank is supposed to be. With proactive calls coming from actual humans on how my business and finances are meeting our families goals to reminders on key webinars and experts sharing valuable tips on how to position myself. Best of all, they make sure each visit is professional and personable. They know me and see me, not just the number I bring in. Special shout out to our dedicated banker in Renzo Lujan who without fail or ask goes above and beyond for us every time we need his support.

This is a small branch with limited services available. However, they are fantastically nice and kind. They have always gone above the call of duty to help. For example, I recently arrived a few minutes after closing and they were willing to help me! Awesome staff!

I started banking with the First Republic branch in Laurel Village and appreciated the service, friendliness and atmosphere at that location.  At that time they reimbursement foreign ATM fees with checking accounts having a minimum balance of $3500. 6 months ago, I opened a money market account at the Castro street branch specifically because it allowed 6 electronic transfers per statement cycle. After setting up a transfer to pay my VISA bill, I received a notice indicating First Republic rejected the payment.  When I contacted first republic they told me that I made a mistake by indicating that the account was checking instead of saving. I called VISA, and was told that this was not the problem.  Going back to First Republic, after 45+ minutes they determined that the their employee failed to set up the feature that allowed electron transfers. Fast forward 3 months, no paper statements are being received for this account.  I contacted the branch and they indicated that they changed the statements to paperless for no reason. It is unclear why these changes happen, but it appears that either employees aren't property trained and/or they are making changes to improve their profits and disadvantage their customers.
