Outstanding seafood restaurant with a Spanish focus. They have a great bar with a very good selection. The gin and tonics are the highlight, but everything is good. I particularly recommend the weekend brunch and the happy hour. We have tried most of the menu items and they are all outstanding!

We loved Mabels. The basque inspired food with California ingredients is a winning combination. They are serious about their food but light hearted in their vibe. Amy the GM was very attentive to us, changing our table without us asking after sun shone in our eyes. Their gin drinks are creative and they do great G&Ts. Their bottle shop next door has excellent deals on fun wines and spirits.

What a little gem of a restaurant. The food was immaculate. We had the Swordfish Schnitzel and it was phenomenal. Typically Swordfish is extremely easy to overcook and dry but this swordfish was moist and fresh. We also had a dozen Oysters, Mussels Escabeche, Chorizo, and Roasted Mushrooms. We were looking to get the Chorizo Croquettes and Spanish Tortilla but they were both sold out so I recommend getting there early.
Our Server Sophie was top notch. She was friendly, warm, and attentive without being over bearing. She coursed out our meal perfectly and her ability to describe the dishes in such an inviting way was worthy of all the praise. All of her oyster and wine recs were on point. You can tell shes knowledgeable and engaged. Truly an asset to this team and we hope to get her as out server once we go again.
Overall a great experience. Kudos to the entire team for such a great experience!
