Ive been renting a place though Joe for the past three years. It has been nothing but a headache. They never contact you back and refuse to have in person meetings when asked several times. They dont even call you. They only email and text message. He seems super cool and nice at first but he constantly misplaces documents and doesnt follow though with anything you ask him. Unless you go though the property owner to bother him. Dont waste your time with this realtor! Horrible all around. If you want anything done show up unannounced to their office so they are forced to to help you. Or better yet if you see the name Joe Carta RUN and dont look back.

Joe Carta and his team property managed my rental in Talmadge for nearly 8 years and my experience with all of them was extremely positive. When we had a water pipe burst under the house, Joe and his team were quick to react to mitigate the damage. Then his team helped me navigate the insurance claim and manage any repairs that needed to be performed. I was so impressed with Joe that when it came time to sell my property I asked him to be my listing agent, and I can report that he was very attentive during that process as well. 5 Stars!

Look at the Reviews! Looks like if you want to buy a home Joe Carta is great (they want that big money $). If you are planning on renting plan on joint all the other 1 star reviews. No communication at all, dont count on anyone calling you back! Read and keep a copy of your contracts/lease agreement, they will try to cheat you. Dont trust Catalina she will bold face lie to your face. Only way you can get anything done is to show up to their office unannounced and confront them directly. Glad to be done with Joe and his poorly managed company who only care about the big money and not the little guy. Joe- Missing a call once is a mistake, ignoring your clients Consistently is a problem!

Joe and his staff are some of the nicest people I have encountered since moving to San Diego. Whenever theres a maintenance issue, they are prompt to respond to me and send someone out to fix the issue the same day. Renting a home can really be tough when youre new to San Diego and Joe has made it such a seamless and pleasant process. I would happily recommend Joe Carta Realty to anyone looking for a beautiful home in the Kensington area :)
