If you think all therapy is alike, you haven't tried Young Sun and his Genuine Care facility. He and his wife are truly life changing therapists who have helped me, my partner and a dozen of my friends relieve pain after trying multiple and unsuccessful alternatives.

Agree with another reviewer who said that this place is a hidden gem. I went in for back and hip pain. They really listened to me and offered treatment that helped ease my pain and allowed me to get back to my hobbies. Would highly recommend.

Genuine Care PT is fantastic. I had serious lower back pain and discomfort and the therapies I received at Genuine Care PT quickly helped with my pain and discomfort. I highly recommend them to anyone who needs PT services.

Wow, this place is a total gem. This place deserves 100 stars. I had physical therapy here with Jina and she was so amazing. She literally changed my life. I was having a lot of knee pain and with only about six sessions I have no issues at all now. I cannot believe it. Unfortunately, I moved out of San Diego and therefore can no longer have physical therapy there, but I would still be going there weekly if I still lived in San Diego. The staff is very friendly and provide great service. I would say to anyone that is looking for physical therapy dont waste your time going anywhere else. I dont think you can have this type of physical therapy, with a holistic approach, and these types of results anywhere else. I am very grateful to Jina and her staff.

Miracle Workers
My husband heard about Youngsun Kim, the extraordinary physical therapist, from a number of his friends who have been helped by him. Although it was a long jaunt for us (we live in Vista, CA), we decided to see what all the ravings were about. We were thrilled to know that they would accept our regular Medi-Care as payment, and I decided to attend my husbands first appointment with him in Del Mar. I was VERY impressed with Youngsuns great knowledge of physiology, his hands on approach, high intelligence and great sense of humor. My husband felt like he could really be helped by him (and was!), so I made an appointment for myself to see if they could help me with my chronic back pain due to scoliosis. Because my husband wanted to continue to see Youngsun regularly to help him with his challenging knees and back, I decided to schedule visits with Gina Kim, Youngsuns delightful wife who is the other physical therapist there. So we were scheduled simultaneously. Wow! They were both SO helpful to both of us!
Because of my scoliosis, I just assumed that the now chronic back and sacroiliac pain that I had felt daily for years was something Id just have to tolerate. Gina proved me wrong! She taught me how to be more gentle with my movements, what exercises to do (and avoid), how to be more conscious of how I move when I walk, and encouraged me to change out my mattress to one that gave more support. Each time I went in to see her shed work hands on to get the very tight muscles to release, until one day I awoke with NO pain! It remains that way now and I am, of course, delighted and in awe not only at her expertise but at my aging bodys ability to return to more balance. As Gina would always tell me, its never too late!
This husband-wife physical therapy team is THE BEST. My husband and I have been to physical therapy prior to finding their practice, but their expertise and hands on approach is way above the norm! We both feel so very grateful to have found them. They are worth the drive!!!
