    Horrible Experience, I want to get labels for my tiny business. When I got there I went to the printing department and ask the guy at the counter if he can help me. He was on the phone (dont know if personal or business phone) he said he could help. But remain seated I told him Ill show you what Im trying to get printed it was on my phone. I only had the pdf of my labels. He wouldnt stand up if you know this staples the counter and the desk they do their work is not close enough to see what I was trying to show in my opinion. So I ask him are you going to be able to see this from that distance and oh my GOD it was like an insult. He told me I had an attitude and I wasnt gonna get his help to go find his manager she can help. I was shaken I walk to the manager and ask if she can help which she did to the best of her knowledge. She was going to refer me to the Bulk Department to see if they can assist me better but because every employee has access to the personal information I did not feel comfortable after being verbally attacked. As a business owner' is sad to see the work ethic of ppl like this ruining business for this establishment, customers service is lacking .

    I had the worst experience with Melody at the Staples TSA precheck. There is absolutely no reason for Melody's behavior. She treated the customers before me with respect and courtesy, even wishing them safe travels. She treated the gentleman who walked up while she was completing my precheck with kindness and courtesy, telling him she would be right with him, turning back to me with disdain. There is no signage telling customers where to wait, so we all stand and wait a good distance back in the same exact place. Melody never acknowledge me. So I just quietly waited. When she finally acknowledge my presence, she ordered me like a dog to go sit over there (in the office chairs with price tags on them in the demo area). Not, "I will be right with you..." like she said to the gentleman behind me. She became visibly angry and started looking around the store for what I don't know, when I brought the paperwork I was instructed to bring with my realID. She looked like she was looking for a reason to deny my paperwork, even though there isn't any reason she could. I can't understand why Melody is treating me with so much contempt, so I asked her, "I am sorry, did I do something to offend you?" Because her contempt of me is palpable. Her pupils are dilated and she is throwing my papers back and forth and slamming the drawer. Her eyes got huge and she snapped back with "I am not here to be friendly friendly. I'm not here to make friends. I'm here to do my job." But she wasn't treating the other customers like she was treating me, and I wasn't acting any differently than the other customers. I don't know if I look like someone she hates, but she clearly hated the sight of me. The General Manager of the store pretty much excused her behavior, saying she has to deal with a lot of travelers and reacts in accordance to the travelers. Well if that were true, she would have no reason to treat me with disrespect and hatred. I did not treat her like that. I treated her how I would want to be treated. I wish there was audio recording in that area, so management could listen to how she treated me. When I have to renew, I won't be coming back to Staples. Melody is on a power trip.

    ok so this place is not in the best area of point loma but dont let it deter you from coming in ! The staff and people that work there now ( Jan 2024) are extremely helpful. From the people on the floor that are helpful and can ask for help / guidance to the cashiers and the people at the amazon / shipping area. Kalei the cashier is not only sweet but helped me accomplish getting everything i needed on my list even though it wasnt in stock . She calmly took the time to find the file organizer that i needed online , ordered it for me, price matched it and helped me get my coupon from my app ( which i wouldnt otherwise have found ) . thank you for the wonderful customer service , for caring and helping me save money !!! i will continue to come back here
