Dropped in during open gym on a Saturday. Dope spot! Tons of parking and easy to find. Easily one the more welcoming gyms to roll at. Everyone was super laid back. It has a family vibe. Everyone is experienced at all levels and felt like every opponent had their own style. Thanks for the drop in Shannon! Ill be back and send some referrals that way

Nice BJJ Academy led by UFC veteran and BJJ Black Belt, Shannon Gugerty! The students and environment is very welcoming, everyone there is eager to learn Jiu-jitsu with Professor Gugerty. I recommend anyone in that area to check out this academy.

I've been training with Coach Shannon Gugerty for over 5 years and cannot say enough good things about him. His style of teaching and the types of clients who have stayed with him for years really says a lot about how much he cares about you and your growth, whether it's jiu jitsu or another martial art. He is patient but pushes your limits. I'm always getting challenged at this gym. It also helped me make lasting friends and improved my overall well being. I can't live without jiu jitsu now!

Top Jiu Jitsu training in San Diego! Shannon Gugerty is a great coach and excellent black belt under Dean Lister. Kids program is amazing! My son loves it here! He has gained confidence and his fitness levels are through the roof. Bring your kids in for training!
