30th St. Laundry

I am hoping to reach the owner through this platform . Since calling the number in the Laundromat is useless. On Thursday April 4, just last week I went to use your facility and the change machine I inserted a $10 dollar bill and the machine never gave me $10 dollars worth in quarters ! it took my money! The machines button was not lit, that let me know it was not out of order and there was no sign saying it was broken either. That day, the lil waffle business right next to your laundromat had a note for the delivery driver on the wooden fence, and it had a number on it I called and spoke to a lady whom I explained my issue with your change machine to. She said that she was going to do me the favor of getting a hold of you, but had no success in doing so. She was nice enough to call me back to tell me that she could not get a hold of you. So ,I sent her my contact information and name so she may forward it to you. I have also called the number above the change machine several times leaving a voicemails and I still have NOT heard back from you. I am owed money and need it back. If it was $1 I would not be posting anything here but it was $10! I need my refund! Please listen to your voicemails and get back to your customers, we are the reason your business continues to stay open. Please give me my money back.

Half the machines look like theyre in a state of disrepair, the others are filled with the clothes of inattentive patrons. Plus its not like the machines were any nicer than what youd see at a regular apartment building.

never open when they say they're open. won't respond to phone calls, won't help customers. Won't do anything that requires any type of work or effort but will gladly take your money and we'll ask you to help them catch their vandalizers because they don't want to do anything THEMSELVES. TRASH OWNERSHIP. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY

Ive lived in the neighborhood 8 years and this place used to be the spot. Nowadays, its just a poorly maintained cash cow. Its supposed to be open 7am to 7pm. I showed up one morning at 11a and it was closed. Someone else came by a few minutes later with her laundry and only said, Again? Selected a hot water wash for bedding on another day and only cold water came out. Texted the number posted and received no response. Lost out on a $6 wash. After skimming the reviews, well you get the idea. Some machines have poor spin cycles leaving soggy clothes that take longer to dry. Then youve got some dryers that dont seem to get very hot or dont circulate the damp air out. Hit and miss on the change machine which is necessary because the large dryers still require quarters while the others are on the app. Five stars for the evening cleaning crew who are friendly. Zero stars for whomever is pretending to run/manage this business.
