This hotel is clean and a decent hotel. But it being next to the freeway is horrible. If you get the freeway, si would recommend canceling and staying in another hotel.

Rooms were ok! Ventilation only goes into one section of the suite so hard to regulate temperature throughout. Staff was nice and accommodating. Location was great, easy to get around pretty much anywhere in San Diego.

Our family (2 adults, 1 child) did not have a great experience with this hotel. The room was very small and cramped. The bathroom sink was in the middle of the room, by the beds. The room was humid and smelled bad. Behind the toilet was full of black mold. We called the front desk for a toilet plunger and it took over an hour and another phone call to get someone up to our room. We were placed on a floor filled with a sports team who were extremely loud during all hours of the day and night. The pipes in the wall were loud and rumbled the whole room when water was used in our room and other rooms. We placed a 'privacy please' sign on our door before we left for the day, and we came back to the sign removed and our room cleaned. The mini fridge was also missing a leg, so every time we opened the fridge it would topple over. For the price we paid, I was not impressed with what we received. I would not recommend this hotel, especially for a family.
Rooms: Small, cramped, humid, weird smell, mold.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Best Western hotel, and I must say, it exceeded all expectations. What made our experience truly exceptional was the thoughtful gestures and impeccable service provided by the staff, particularly Lide, the incredible housekeeping supervisor.
Upon mentioning that it was my daughter's birthday during our stay, the staff went above and beyond to make her feel celebrated. Lide took charge of decorating the room, turning it into a festive birthday haven that truly surprised and delighted my daughter. The attention to detail in the decorations was remarkable and added an extra touch of warmth to our stay.
But the surprises didn't end there. To our utter amazement, the hotel staff also presented my daughter with birthday gifts, which she absolutely adored. It was evident that they genuinely cared about making her day special, and their efforts did not go unnoticed.
Throughout our stay, the service provided by the Best Western team was exceptional. From the friendly receptionists to the attentive housekeeping staff, every interaction was marked by professionalism and a genuine desire to ensure our comfort and satisfaction.
I cannot recommend Best Western highly enough, especially for those looking to add an extra touch of magic to special occasions. Their commitment to customer service and going above and beyond expectations truly sets them apart. And to Lide, our heartfelt gratitude for orchestrating such a memorable experience for my daughter. You truly made her birthday one she will never forget.
