Katharyn is the BEST recruiter Ive ever had!!! She always goes above and beyond for me! She is very professional, approachable, positive, caring, a good listener, and promptly responds to all my messages. I am loyal to Katharyn and will never work with about other recruiter but her! Been with PHS from PRN SNF work to full-time school setting since 2019. Every recruiter (only 2) has been genuine and sincere. Knowledgeable about the industry. Love the consistency and "human-ness" in this ever changing AI-type of world.

DO NOT work with Dakota Smith. I interviewed for a position I was excited for, but I ultimately had to decline the job the day after the offer was received. Dakota proceeded to send me a long, threatening message saying I am burning a bridge with Preferred and the job site if I dont accept the position. It was very shocking as Ive done nothing but speak to him with kindness and extremely uncalled for as there was no reason a first time traveler rejecting a job offer would be burning a bridge. I get recruiters need to make a dime too, but this definitely wasnt the way to do it. I cant attest to all of Preferred Healthcare, but if they allow such unprofessionalism into their company, its not a company I want to be contracted under.

It was great working with them for a period of time however when I get injured at work on one of the travel assignment, they only allow workers comp until my contract ended. Workers comp reviewer is still aware that i wasnt still able to work after contract and said if the company says ok, they will still pay for workers comp but Preferred Healthcare refuse to pay further leaving me in pain due to their thought am going to leave them despite how many years i worked with them. But for me that is not right whether someone is going to leave or stay as long as you got injured during your travel assignment and when contract ended, they should still pay you cause you are still employed with them. Am glad i am fully recovered and found a better travel agency who really cares.
