        It appears that an infants safety is not a priority at Avis. When you book an infant car seat and the website indicates that the infant car seat is available in a certain location, it should be guaranteed that this infant seat is actually available! You can not just take a risk on a childs life. On top of that, they also tried to convince us that an infant below 15 lbs can sit in an forward-facing car seat, which is a disgrace and quite frankly illegal!! Given that we had no other means of transportation, we had to walk our baby to the hotel and then I drove separately to buy an appropriate infant car seat. Never using Avis again.

        Carol and Richard retired, thought new company was cool until they stressed us out. We have rented a truck for work for many months, thousands of dollars and want us to jump though hoops

        Make sure to ask about processing of tolls. Avis. apparently, does not allow you to pay tolls by yourself, and they charge you a processing fee of $15 for each toll payment processed, on top of the the toll amount itself.
