We can not be more happy with our garage to ADU renovation and living room expansion. Our project manager Ron Gauzner exceeded all of our expectations!! He was so professional, creative, design forward and communicative. I could not recommend Lumina and Ron more highly. We chose Lumina Builders after another contractor became ill and could not start the project. Lumina had to save us from an architectural design flaw and worked tirelessly with the original architect who needed frequent coaching from Ron's team. Needless to say, Ron guided us through this project and delivered beyond our expectations. Our family loves our new home! We will only use Lumina Builders for our future projects.

I worked with Alon to remodel my small condo bathroom, replacing a nasty old plastic prefabbed tub with a beautifully tiled custom shower. It was somewhat challenging to find people willing to take on such a small job, or to do so at a (by San Diego standards) reasonable price, but Lumina took it on and did so in under six weeks from start of work. There were some hiccups along the way, including some minor delays and a couple of minor fit-and finish issues with the work itself, but Alon either identified those errors himself, and promptly informed me of what delay they'd cause, or immediately rectified them when I noticed something myself. There's no such thing as a perfect contractor, but with Alon we had somebody who was straightforward and honest with us. The end result is a beautiful bathroom that we can look forward to using for many years to come.

Lumina builders helped us out 4 years after our job was completed. They adjusted some flooring that had shifted over time at no charge. They also offered to correct some pealing that happened in a tub that had been resurfaced. Thank you Lumina for going above and beyond!

Not just a good job, but a FANTASTIC job, a dream kitchen is what it is. I never thought i will have a kitchen like that. Shon was my project manager, he was here everyday and make sure everything was done properly, even the small details. All the in-house employees was really excellent on their job, they knew what they are doing. I also did my roof with them in 2 and a half days job between the storms. Thank you shon and lumina builders i will definitely will use you again in the future!

Lumina completed a whole house reno, and it is absolutely stunning. Amazing. But here's the real reason for a five-star. They didn't disappear after the project was over. There was a rather large issue that came up (unforeseen/unanticipated during the reno) but David stood behind Lumina's work and corrected it - even going out of his way to find the original material that was discontinued. This level of commitment is very hard to find in a builder. Highly recommend!
