As a Black American I experienced nepotism and racism at this location from their staff Collette and Randy. Watch out for the worker Dan too. Most of the work force are struggling with health or drug issues. I worked 4 days out of a year where I had to deactivate my account. Do not go to this location looking for work. I was treated poorly. Stay away by all means necessary.

Great place to make money if in need of it for bill pay fair wages and nice staff but you gotta work and take what jobs are given

If, by chance an assignment does not work out for whatever reason. They will not work with you again in my situation. My phone was stolen on my first date at an assignment me and the dude shared words because he was making fun of the situation and I left when I figured out that the managers there were not gonna help me find my phone. This was three years ago fast forwarding to present day. I tried to call them to see if they had any short term work I could to really supplement my income. They told me that I would need to be reinstated, but it does not look promising. Its not my fault and employee that works for their company stole my phone. I would steer clear. And maybe look at places like Express Employment. They always have openings and are completely transparent unlike people ready. Oh, and they blocked me after they left a voice saying it doesnt look promising lol.

Getting a job works on a first come first serve basis. The problem is, that jobs are so few and far in between that people pick the jobs so fast it's insane and dare I say unfair. I can imagine some people who sign up for PeopleReady ready to work, never actually end up working or they give up entirely because they want to work but aren't fast enough to accept a job offer on the Job stack app. I love how the "work immediately" thing is, but the idea is Dead in the Water if everyone who WANTS TO WORK can't find work. It's a waste of time. There should be a matching system that designates jobs specifically for the candidates and they should have a set amount of time to choose before it goes to the next in line. Because right now, it's just unfair. The first come first serve way of getting jobs needs to be abolish for something that assists everyone!

This particular business has given me the worst experience in the job industry that I have ever encounter or had to experience. They tell you that when you work throughout the day, as soon as you rate and confirm your hours that you have worked through the app then you'll will be paid within minutes. Well that has not been the case. They have done so several times, either paid the wrong person my wages and/ or have taken two to three days later to get my payment loaded on my debit card. They have also removed job tickets off of my profile for no apparent reason and when I follow the instructions to call the office and request for the reason why they'll either put me on hold or just plain hang up the phone and not answer when I call back. They have the most unprofessional managers and talent recruiters on planet earth and more. I have tried to give them the benefit of the doubt and think of other logical reasons for they're actions but in the end of the day they are just horrible, and I mean blatantly horrible when dealing with customers and employees. I have been cheated out of my time and money on numerous accounts and especially the West Sacramento office has given me the wrong address to curtain job sites and have reprimanded me for showing up late to work when they fail to provide me with the proper location, They have either given me the wrong equipment or not given me any equipment at all to maintain site policies and safety rules. I am writing this review to warn any and everyone I possibly can that "People Ready temp service" is the most unprofessional and dishonest organization I have ever worked for and will never attempt to work for them on any occasion whatsoever beyond today. They are the most immorally and unethically type of business I have ever dealt with. So whoever uses temp agencies to find permanent work or just day to day payout gigs, your better off using labor max or aerotek or even select staffing rather than go to people ready. Save yourself the headache and rising blood pressure because that's all you'll get out of these people. I wouldn't take this review down even if they paid me because I feel this will help someone out there from making the biggest mistake of they're lives. Thank you all who have read this, understood, and have considered all of what I just mentioned. Even if you do not agree personally all of this are hard facts that I have sat back too long and not said anything. Today I do. God bless you all!!!!!!!!!
