Title: Fantastic Daycare with a Personal Touch
We're so glad we found Mini Makers Preschool! Leslie and her team have created an exceptional environment for children. The on-site working suites make drop-offs and pick-ups a breeze, and the staff is always warm and welcoming. The daycare's digital check-in and checkout system and their efficient paperwork process demonstrate their commitment to professionalism. The diverse community of kids is a joy to be a part of, and the rates are very reasonable. If you're looking for a daycare that offers a personal touch, Mini Makers is the place for your child. Highly recommended!

Very rude people The owner feeds the kids cheap food and expired from the food bank. I don't recommend taking your child to this daycare. I had to pull my daughter from this place, a wife and husband own it

Being a first-time mom, I struggled with the idea of my son being away from me, but working from home with a toddler is challenging at times. Coworking at The Makers Place™ allows me to work without distractions at home, and I know he is in good hands with their caregiving team. I get periodic updates through messages, pictures, and videos, and quick responses from his caregivers. My favorite thing about being a member is the sense of community and connecting with others, while my son gets the social interaction he needs in their onsite childcare program. The Pandemic years have brought much isolation and less socializing experiences than I imagine for myself and my son, so it's nice to find a place to feel some normalcy again! Since joining, my son has blossomed and grown in developing personal relationship. If you're thinking about joining, don't hesitate to schedule a tour with Leslie and see for yourself why this place is an excellent decision!

I'm a current member of the co-working space and my 1.5yo toddler is in the daycare for under 2 years old. I'm just going to tell you why I love this place.My son gets to spend time around other adults and kids and rev up his immune system. All very important! I'm sure day in and day out of just hanging out with his mom and dad has been so boring. They have different activities, songs, and toys for him to experience, too. He's learning about cooperation, the concept of sitting for meals, and learning to not grab food from others' plates. Every week it seems like his brain is expanding. He comes with home with new skills, gestures, and sounds.I am such an introvert. Being a new mom, it has been tricky to find any recharge moments throughout the day. I love that the daycare provides the care for my son while I can go sit in a quiet room and get those precious moments of calm to sit by myself without my mind, body, and attention being pulled in five directions simultaneously. We're signed up for 3 days per week for a few hours each day and it's very helpful for my psyche.If you're hesitant, just start with an hour or two or one day per week to dip your toes in and see how it works for your family. That's how we started and then we quickly added more days! Definitely talk with the owner, Leslie, if you can. She's incredible.

The Maker's Place has been the perfect way to transition my twin babes to a school-like setting (they are currently in daycare).  During the times I'm not at Maker's Place I'm visiting schools sites to support and manage SEL (social and emotional) programs. While at Maker's Place I have time to work on developing adult SEL Professional developments and workshops that further support these program for students and educators to show up wholeheartedly within this really challenging time in education and society.  I would say take the leap, schedule a visit and meet Leslie. This is an inclusive space and your children/scholars will definitely be supported and seen.
