BEWARE!! Before you plan on buying your vehicle, make sure whoever you deal with they give you the vehicle ready to go. As a first time buyer at the age of 18 years old, I had my worst experience ever as a young adult. I had found a vehicle on facebook market place and I instantly fell in love. It was a 2014 BMW 328I Sport. Michael was my sales associate and really came off as a great guy and explained how perfect the car was for me. I was ready to buy the vehicle and I put a big down payment on the car. Once collecting the car and signing all the paperwork everything was perfect. I had bought my first car with my own hard earned money. The following week I had to get my tags and registration but noticed there was no smog certificate. I called Michael and he had explained that I needed to just smog it and he would reimburse me. When I went to go take it to get smogged, they told me there was no way it was going to pass due to illegal modifications. (catless down pipe, racing tuner, air intake, and spacer for turbo). Don't forget we are in California and it is illegal for a dealership to release a vehicle without smogging it. I contacted Michael and said he would take care of everything and put it back to normal. I bought the vehicle 02/5/2020 and since then the vehicle still would not pass smog. I took multiple trips, days off of work, and just had lots of frustration through this process. I would leave the vehicle for lengthy amounts of time for nothing. (Longest was 2 months). All through the process I had requested for a refund or another solution. My request for a refund was rejected and was only offered for the dealer to buy back my car and give me a check for a $1,000. Michael also offered to give me a vehicle at auction price. Both offers were literally jokes. I had already paid off so much on the car that all of the money I paid would have been a wash. While the dealer had my vehicle I received fines for toll violations (4 of them!!). I was in disbelief, but Michael took care of it but that is not okay at all. (Bad business ethics). So for over a year I had been using temporary license plates with an unregistered vehicle under my name. I even got a letter from the DMV stating I needed my smog certificate, otherwise the vehicle would be impounded. This was the worst and most frustrating experience I ever had. It just so happened on 3/8/2021 I got into an accident that would leave my car totaled. I hate to say that I was in a car accident but that was the only way I was able to get out of this horrible situation. If I could give this place negative/zero stars I would. I really wanted things to work because I was in love with the car but it became my worst nightmare.
