Mattie's Hardwood Flooring

I submitted the online questionnaire through the website to get an estimate for repairing a hole in my hardwood floor, and Mr Mattie called me less than an hour later! He came out to look at it the very next day, and was very frank and honest about my options. Will definitely be using Mattie's Hardwood for all my flooring needs in future!

John was recommended by a colleague so, I called him out of the blue, described my project (which has nothing to do with flooring) and he went out of his way to stop by our shop, review our project, suggest a product and gave me enough material so we could complete our project. You don't get that kind of service anywhere, John, I am very grateful.

Mattie's crew did an absolutely beautiful job refinishing the hardwood floors in our home! They were prompt and professional throughout the process and the floors look brand new! The price for the work was much lower than I thought it would be. I highly recommend them!

I had Mattie come over to see if our squeaking engineered hardwood floors could be fixed. He gave us straightforward and informative feedback.  We're probably out of luck, but if we need flooring services in the future, he'll be our first call.

We had an area in our kitchen where the hardwood floors were pretty damaged.  We did not want to replace the flooring, we just needed this one area repaired.  All the flooring repairmen that looked at it said nothing could be done to fix them, and that we'd need to replace the flooring (which would mean replacing the flooring on the entire first floor of our house).  Then someone recommended Mattie's Hardwood Flooring.  The owner himself, John Mattie, came and assessed the floors and determined that he could fix them, though he warned that the patina would be different from the surrounding un-damaged area.  John was great to work with.  He was quick to respond, scheduled us in quickly, was upfront, and he managed expectations beautifully.  In fact, he exceeded expectations.  His workman Sean, that did the job, was very polite, efficient, and did an excellent job of color matching the stain and sheen to the existing floor.  He is a true artist.  In fact, unless you are looking for it, you can't even tell where the repaired area transfers over to the existing floor.  We are beyond happy with the beautiful results of Mattie's Hardwood Flooring.  I highly recommend John Mattie and his team.
