Max Maisel, PhD

I started working with Dr. Maisel back in March after a variety of factors exacerbated my anxiety disorder. I first came across his website and was impressed by how helpful it was and how passionate he seemed about his work. I reached out to him to get more information and he responded quickly and set up a phone call with me that next day. From the beginning it was clear that he was dedicated to his patients. In between appointments he would always respond to emails in a timely fashion and make room for emergency phone calls. Throughout our sessions he was positive and encouraging. He motivated me to go towards my fears, embrace uncertainty, and make sure that I acknowledged the progress I was making... even on harder days. I also found that working with him did not only help my anxiety disorder it also helped improve other parts of my life which I am extremely grateful for.
