I lost 78 pounds with Jenny Craig and have kept it off for 10 years! Ive gone back to the program when my weight starts to creep up by 15 pounds but most of the years Ive not needed to because the counselors helped me manage my food portions and increase my steps. I wear a FitBit which helps a lot. Their food is delicious and the weight will fall off by just following the plans. Its a little pricey but not when I looked at how much I was spending on fast food! Im so much healthier and happier now. Im worth the investment and the program was the only one that worked for me. Iris Kilpatrick

Went there several years ago and quit because I got tired of having an appointment and getting there only to find that I had to wait 20 minutes plus then when it was my turn I was rushed out the door because she had her next appointment. Gave them another try recently and was told I would meet with the manager at 9:00 I was there and she was not. 15 minutes later she showed up I didn't feel like she was really interested in helping me at all. She said she would call me a few days later never did. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Exceptional service by Nancy, she's my coach and a very friendly, helpful, motivating person. Laura, the manager, is very professional and follows up with me to ensure my needs as a client are being met. Awesome, friendly and helpful center!  Oh yea, I'm losing weight every week but that's MY doing! :) Yay me!  The program is very reasonable, the food is delicious and it's an easy program to follow even in my very busy life. I highly recommend it!

I was a customer of Jenny Craig for several years until my most recent experience, which was so ludicrous I thought I should let others know. Were my experiences from prior years excellent? Far from it. But this comedy of errorsand their reaction, or lack thereofpushed it over the edge for me. I made an appointment to lose a few pounds for my upcoming trip. I chose the rapid results program to be sure of reaching my goal. It was an attainable goal for it was the same Ive set and reached before. Everyone in the Poway center assured me I could do it. Instead of helping me, they sabotaged me through ineptitude, so that, after 5 wks of trying, I did not reach my goal. Although I dont believe it was intentional, the results were the same. They failed to follow their own program. Substitutions were made without telling me or even notating my menu. When I couldnt find an item from the menu, even after emptying my freezer, I had to leave the JC menu and eat regular food. In the past, when JC has been out of something, which happened frequently, the counselor would tell me what was missing and, with my approval, make a JC substitution. Not this time. Once they held my food for me while I went to an appointment. They let me have a breakfast from my menu for the upcoming week, so I could eat it in the car. But the manager failed to convey the simple message that I was on Week 3 to the person who packed the box with a weeks supply of food. I was given the food for Week 2, creating two problems: 1) I had eaten a breakfast from Week 3; 2) I just finished Week 2. But here I was eating another week of the exact food I had the week before. Included was a meal that I couldn't eat and they knew it, but this info was not communicated. So I was again forced to substitute a meal with regular food. And again, I emptied my freezer to find a lunch that wasnt there. I had no food from that day because I had no food from Week 3, which the counselor and I concluded together, after I wasted more time calling JC. JCs counselors were adamant that I consume the food on the menu in order and not skip any. They stated that I must eat EVERYTHING on the menu as shown, explaining that failure to do so would slow my metabolism. As said to me, just start at the top and read and follow it exactly. Yet, one week I was not given the vegetables on the menu. Later, the very same counselor who stressed the importance of not skipping food defended the counselor who didnt include the food and said the menu vegetables werent necessary! After my last meeting, I expressed my displeasure to the manager regarding the mistakes made by JCs counselors. Instead of being sympathetic, she alibied for each and every mistake. She even told me I could cook my own vegetables! Never mind that the vegetables were right on the menuand she could have sold them to me. Never mind that I had no time to cook, as I was preparing to be away for 2-1/2 weeks, which was one of the reasons I was doing JC! Sadly, the manager took no responsibility and offered no apologies. In my last conversation with the manager, she agreed to call me after I returned from my trip. A counselor called, but only to make an appointment with me to continue my diet. I explained what had gone wrong and expected to hear back from the manager. But another counselor called, instead, and I had to repeat everything to her. She said she would leave a note for the manager to call me1 1/2 weeks ago. I havent heard from her or anyone, for that matter. Despite how hard I worked to meet my weight goal to deadline, I didnt receive the necessary support from the company I had paid to counsel me and I failed to reach my goal. Could the staffs lack of interest/ care and swift defense of their mistakes be a result of the company failing to provide proper training to its counselors? Possibly. In any event, the lack of professionalism I experienced during my time with JC is something I dont wish to repeat. Over the years, I have witnessed the closure of many Jenny Craig centers. Now I know why.

I was a customer of Jenny Craig for several years until my most recent experience, which was so ludicrous I thought I should let others know.  Were my experiences from prior years excellent?  Far from it.  But this comedy of errors--and their reaction, or lack thereof--pushed it over the edge for me.I made an appointment to lose a few pounds for my upcoming trip.  I chose the "rapid results" program just to be certain I could reach my goal.  It was an attainable goal for it was the same goal I've set and reached in the past.  Everyone in the Poway center assured me I could do it.  But instead of helping me, they inadvertently sabotaged me through ineptitude, so that, after five weeks of trying, I did not reach my goal.  Although I don't believe the sabotage was intentional, the results were the same. What went wrong?  They failed to follow their own program.  Meal substitutions were made without telling me or even notating my menu.  When I couldn't find an item listed on the menu (because it had been substituted), even after emptying my entire freezer, I had to leave the JC menu and eat regular food.  In the past, when JC has been out of a particular meal on the menu, which happened frequently, the counselor would let me know what was missing and, with my approval, make a JC substitution.  But not this time.  Once they held my food for me while I went to an appointment.  They let me have a breakfast from my menu for the upcoming week, so I could eat it in the car to my destination.  But the manager--who is no longer there--failed to convey the simple information that I was on Week 3 to the person who packed the box with a week's supply of food.  I was given the food for Week 2, creating two problems:  1) I had already just had a breakfast from Week 3; 2) I had just finished Week 2.  Those of you who have been on a strict diet that requires you to eat only specific foods know the importance of variety for success.  But here I was eating another week of the exact food I had the week before.  Included was a meal that I can't eat and they knew it, but this information was not communicated.  And so I was again forced to substitute a meal with regular food.  As if that wasn't enough, I needed to empty my freezer again to find the lunch that coincided with the breakfast I had eaten earlier in the car, which wasn't there.  I had no food from that day because I had no food from Week 3, which the counselor and I concluded together, after I wasted more time calling Jenny Craig.  Jenny Craig's counselors were adamant that I not only consume the food on the menu in order, but that I also not skip any foods.  They specifically stated on more than one occasion that I must eat EVERYTHING on the menu as shown, explaining that failure to do so would slow my metabolism and defeat the purpose of the very carefully designed diet.  As the counselor said to me, "just start at the top and read and follow it exactly."  Yet, one week I was not given the vegetables on the menu.  Later, the very same counselor who stressed the importance of not skipping food defended the counselor who didn't include the food and said the menu vegetables weren't necessary!
