Dr. Sinem has helped me with so much over the years, from neck pain to emotional stress and much more. She has a gentle and caring presence and you can tell she really cares about her patients. I came across LUX integrative wellness by a lucky chance. I was suffering from multiple symptoms pertaining to lack of proper digestion, malnutrition, improper breathing and dizziness/light headedness. Before coming across the practice, I had gone to numerous doctors practicing the common western medicine approach. They all concluded that all my symptoms were a result of stress and provided me with nothing but the common narcotics and relaxers. Non of them thought to approach my problems by testing if my gut health was adequate in the first place. When I came across LUX, Dr. Sinem was very accommodating and generous in giving her time to provide a consultation to understand my problems. From there, she took a lot of detailed information of my past medical history in person at her office. In brief, she was very professional, intelligent and accommodating. She was very patient in understanding and hearing all my past medical history. She was able to put together an action plan and recommended Chinese herbal medicine to fix my internal gut health along with acupuncture therapy to re-align the functionality of my body. I was able to see progress right away. I was able to learn a lot from her. I highly recommend her practice and her methods and approach as its how real medicine is practiced. One thing I will note, is always remember that the body is an outcome of years of trial and error. No different than the analogy of sprinting a marathon, do not walk in to her office thinking that you will be back to optimal health in no time. Please be patient with her the same way she is patient with you and believe in her process. Everything comes with patience.
