the maintenance guys entered my house today while I was having my birthday party they completely ruined it so we threw cake at them when they left

Horrible experience with the management I never seem to get ahold of them. Been contacting them they dont answer I submitted an application they didnt even bother to submit the application form. They ask for a application fee and extra $500 dollars I ask for them back more than 2 weeks ago they said they were going to mail them back and now they wont even bother to answer the phone or mail

Worst place to live, people from the office always laying about price, they decide the price of the day, they gonna tell you a different (more expensive) price at the day youre there to sign the contract, before that, they tell you a good price, and be ready to pay more when you are renewing the contract, much more, also there are 2 people working in the office, but they treat their jobs like a vacation, there are always out, seems like they work 2 hours per day, and the if you have something broken in your apartment, get ready to wait 1 or 2 weeks to get that fixed, homeless everywhere, not a safety place for kids and womans, there is no place to park unless you are renting a space, thats ridiculous, too expensive for a tiny apartment and a poor service from people at the office, always trying to scam you in some way, I wish I could have their superiors number to report them

my little family loves this place! the grounds are maintained weekly if not every 2 weeks. the garbages are sanitized and deodorized as well. i have never seen any homeless in the area. the management team has been outstanding since the minute we inquired about this place. maintenance has responded within a day of needing a request. the pool is heated year round. the gym smells wonderful considering its a gym. the mail room is kept clean. when we take our evening walks the sunsets around here are so peaceful. the commute for my husband to sf is so easy as we are right off the freeway. my son loves to play in the the little playground here. i live on the 1st floor and never hear the people above me. i have no complaints what so ever. thank you altura for providing a place like this to call my home.

Terrible property management and maintenance. The review speak for themselves worst place to live in Petaluma. They tried charging over 10% in a yearly rent increases. My rent was increased every year that I lived at this property despite the lie they tell in the response. When I decided not to renew because of the obscene rental increase (that pushed the price well over market value) there were 9 apartments with the same floor plan as mine available for rent. At one point they had listed my apartment to prospective tenants for less money than they were currently charging me. This property tried to take advantage of me because they thought I wouldnt have the desire or means to move and wanted to gouge me for as much as they thought they could. Judging by the amount of resident turnover the building has as well as conversations I have had with my neighbors, Im sure this is not an isolated case and you can expect the same treatment if you lease with this property. Aside from my experience with their unethical opportunist rent increase policy, the rest of the reviews speak for themselves. Here is a list of some of the issues that you will run into if you choose to lease from this poorly managed property: The neighborhood is unsafe. The pool is not maintained (it was shut down by the health department in the summer of 2023). The grounds are not maintained. There is dog poo and dead plants covered by bark everywhere. No preventative or routine maintenance is done inside the building (chaulking, filter changes, etc.) Maintenance does not respond to requests for weeks and even months at a time and enters the dwelling units without notice. The property management has a deal with the shadiest tow company in the Bay Area and will tow residents and their guests cars from their own leased spaces in the middle of the night without any notice to the tenants. The dumpsters are not emptied routinely and the overflowing trash spreads throughout the property. There are always homeless people in the dumpsters in the morning and cruising around the property during the day. Missing equipment from the gym is not replaced by management for months.
