Launderland Coin - Op Laundry

Overall the place is in need of some TLC!!!! Weird customers and a homeless who lives there! In the morning there is nowhere 2 fold your clean clothes cuz this knucklhead has all his personal belongings spread out. Oh while he is shaving in the customer sink, lathers up w shaving cream, making himself at home! His clohes hang on a cart and then by the time he is done, 2 hours has past.ridiculous! The machines are old and dirty. We left a load there overnite and it wS gone when we went when they opened. So unless you want to fight for space with the homeless dude, Id go elsewhere! Pasadena is slim pickings for laundrymats. So sad!

Wow. It really is as awful as they say. And it isn't all that cheap: $1.75 for a regular wash, $3 for a side-loading machine (big enough for a quilt and a thermal blanket, for instance). I don't mind machines out of order if they're *marked* out of order, but a bunch of them are just try-and-see broken or open-them-up-and-find-stinking-standing-water broken. The worst is that I realize now (when I can't prove it) that I got less than $10 of quarters for my $20 bill in the change machine. So this unpleasant laundry experience cost me plenty. OMG it gets worse! Another patron rushed me to remove a load that had stopped (because she wanted to use the machine). The load, in a front-loading washer, didn't look spun to me, but the other patron showed me the indicator that the load was done. Sure enough, it was dripping. Worse than that, however, was the "cold" dark load, which was steaming hot at the end of the cycle! Then the search began for a working dryer. Apparently, the only temperature that works on any of the dryers is blazing hot! I called the manager, but all I got was voicemail. At this point, I'm putting my wet laundry into the car and getting out of here!
