Edward Jones - Financial Advisor: Arnetta V Tolley

Started with them in 2004 when everything was hunky dory. Then in 2008 when my portfolio went down by more than 60% this advisor dumped me off to the St. Louis call center. No warning no nothing. At the time I was a novice and I realized that the mutual funds they put me into were heavily loaded with fees, expense ratios as high as 5.75%. Ridiculous right. I was in my 20s at the time and doing dollar-cost averaging. I did not panic call. I trusted. And they dumped me off. Needless to say I transferred my funds to Fidelity and closed my accounts with Edward Jones. Now I self-direct. Despite current losses Im still on track to meet my retirement goals and all no thanks to Edward Jones and Arnetta.

They were okay initially but after loosing my loved one, they became very cold. Being kind is easy, I hope when they deal with that level of hurt, they arent treated as badly as they treated me.

It's unfortunate that instead of focusing on clientele Arnetta has a vendetta against young entrepreneurs in her area. Instead of investing in her neighbors she rather see them suffer. I can only imagine what she would do with her customers private accounts when they have a disagreement! I advise she work on herself and morals before taking on anyone else's money. There's no way she has time to look over financial reports when she calling the city on innocent harmless black men. Do better!

How reassuring to have Arnetta manage our retirement investments! Arnetta is quite knowledgeable, offers explanations for the funds that she has laid out for us, ties in the activity going on in global markets and how we're growing our retirement investments. Very conscientious, professional. Always come away from our meetings satisfied and confident in Arnetta's suggestions!!
