Holly Street Village Apartments

I lived here for 2 years and while I enjoyed the location and building of the Holly Street Village Apartments, I was extremely upset and disappointed with their management. After being a trustworthy tenant along with my roommate, who always paid rent on time and kept the apartment extremely clean, we were hit with major cleaning fees upon move out and our security deposit was withheld from us. We tried to communicate and resolve with management for MANY months and sent email after email, called multiple times a week and were not helped nor responded to. A year later, we have still not resolved. It's incredibly upsetting that the management here was unresponsive, unhelpful and disorganized. With that said, the maintenance staff was always helpful and kind. Cannot say the same for the apartment management nor Greystar (parent company). Save yourself the headache and live elsewhere.

DO NOT LIVE HERE!!! I got serious termite issues in my bedroom, it took A MONTH for them to fix, the bugs are literally EVERYWHERE and had a huge damage to my daily life and mental health, come onjust imagine living with hundreds of bugs on ur bed every single day !! yet they DID NOT offer me a temporary place to settle down or any solution during that month, while Im still paying the over market price rent!!! Unbelievably frustrating experience. Also, your package will be STOLEN all the time. The office do nothing for you. Homeless will get inside sometimes and steal your package or delivery food. Definitely not a safe place for single female to live.

I lived here for 1 year and want you all to know how highly I recommend this apartment complex. While it is not the cheapest apartment complex in the world, there are many reasons for that, and it's all based upon what you get for the monthly cost. First, the location of this complex is awesome; you are located in the heart of Pasadena and can walk to restaurants, bars, etc. The maintenance team is amazing, when I submitted a work order, all the requests were fixed within 24 hours which is super impressive, especially when it comes to small little issues, all fixed super quickly. The gym is nice, pool area is nice, office center with printing is nice, parking garage is easy to work through, and most importantly, you feel safe and the apartment staff could not be more accommodating and happy to make the time spent there worth while. My recommendation to you is this: if you are looking for the cheapest most affordable apartment complex is the Los Angeles area, this is not the place for you. But if you are looking for a safe apartment complex with a lot of amenities and a staff that wants to support you, this is your place. Thanks Holly Street Village team for making my year living here a great time!

Great location, expensive of course given the location, but nice. That whole train running through some of the buildings wasn't as bad as I thought it might be but still there's a train running through it to make sure if you decide to go that you either are not near them or the whooshing noise doesn't bother you. The leasing office seemed pretty friendly.
