Came with my family and had a great time for the most part. We were a bit unfortunate that the weather was very cold at night (about 40 degrees) and sorting out the Thermostat / space heater was a hassle that didn't really do the trick... but what can you expect from an older Airstream. There was also water line issue in the city of Ojai during our stay which closed down most of the restaurants which we were a bit bummed about but this had nothing to do with Caravan Outpost. The brewery next door was great and we enjoyed listening to live music over a few beers with our son. Nearby activities: Brewery next door, walkable and (bike ridable) paths to downtown Ojai

Fun! At first. Thennot so much. Pros: Easy location to downtown and all the shops and restaurants. The idea of staying in an Airstream is a novel idea that wears off quickly. I knew what I was getting into and that was fine. I dont mind small spaces or RVs. But what I didnt like was to read about amenities offered but upon arrival, were not there. Walking into the Outpost is super cute and I love the layout and outside areas. Getting into the airstream was easy but then things kinda went downhill after that. Cons: Sitting at the airstream kitchen table there is a record player and some records. Cool! Ahbut the needle is damaged and the records skipnot cool. Oh!! A TV in the perfect place and a cute little sign saying, TV is not operational. Not cool. Neat! A third bed in the front for my teenager. But no bedding even though the Airstream says it sleeps 3. Not cool! Lets get some fresh air in here. Can we open a window? Make sure to read the cute little sign saying, Please do not open window (window damage fee is $300). Um, yeahyou guessed it-not cool! Its the little things that make a stay at any hotel more special and although the thought is there at the Caravan Outpost, the follow through is not. The devil is in the details. Unfortunately, I wont be staying here again.
