Old Grove Apartment

I emailed in to ask where I was on their waitlist since its January and youre supposed to let them know youre still interested twice a year. Plus, its been quite a few years and I havent heard anything from them. They responded that I was on the waitlist as of 04/2020.I replied and attached the email confirmation from them to me in April 2019 not 20. They replied that they didnt know what happened (which seems to be their theme at this organization) but that they would notate it on my guest card. I had to go back and forth with them and finally start asking them how they manage their waitlists before they said they would change my waitlist date to the original date. Im pretty sure they didnt do anything and Im still in the 2020 position (if they manage their waitlist at all.at this point, I have my doubts). I was also informed that its a 3-5 year waitlist with it exceeding 5 years at times.funny it was a 2-5 year waitlist when I applied. I have a funny feeling that I will never get to the top of the waitlist too.unless I am related to someone there or best friends with them. I have applied to every waitlist that Community Housing Works has and they never call you. I would give anything to see a HUD auditor look at how they manage their waitlists.
