I was in a bike accident a few years ago. I was struck on a busy street in San Francisco by an uber passenger who opened the door right into the bike lane without warning. It was the first accident I had ever been in, being an extremely active person, it shifted quite a bit for me in my life for years to come. I was referred to Gunter by a large SF firm that specializes in representing cyclist, they referred me to him with much confidence that he could handle my case. They were absolutely correct. Gunter is extremely passionate, informative and responsive. I was never left wondering what was happening with the case, I was always fully informed and updated and I was always thoroughly prepared for any matters where I was questioned or needed to speak. Of course, personal injury cases take time, I'm grateful that in the years we were in litigation I always felt confident and safe with Gunter. Transparent, diligent, successful.  I was referred to Gutner by another law firm regarding personal injury in late 2017,  After being hit by a car as a pedestrian, I was dumbfounded as to how to get relief.  Gunter took the case by the horns and litigated it into mediation, formal discovery and settlement.  I most enjoyed working with him at the mediation, going back and forth with opposing counsels to come to a potential agreement.  I decided I would rather prepare for a formal jury trial setting, he respected my choice.  Then the delays in civil jury trials compounded with the political climate.  We continued discovery and pushed as much as possible, then stipulated to an agreement.  Gunter was fair, honest and I highly recommend him to others looking for personal injury or medical law specialists.
